Summer NAMM 2016: Walrus Audio

Walrus Audio has released quite a few pedals this year. For Summer NAMM they announced the Monument Harmonic Tremolo and the Projector Overdrive. Earlier this month they announced the Contraband Fuzz. And earlier in the year they released the Luminary Quad Octave Generator and the Julia Analog Chorus/Vibrato. Colt walks us through all of the new 2016 pedals with demos of the pedals.

P.S. I’m thinking of putting together a gag reel of the pre-interview shenanigans if that would interest anyone. Colt is one funny guy and you only see a little bit in this video of why I’m glad to have made his acquaintance.

Summer NAMM 2016: Evolution Guitar

The Evolution Guitar. I actually spent a bit of time with these guys since the concept of their product intrigued me. I mentioned this in my pre-NAMM post but it’s a modular guitar that you can swap face plates that have different pickups in them. Pretty cool deal for smaller studios that might not be able to have a few good guitars on hand. You’d just need one guitar, a few different face plates and you’d be good to go. I was pleasantly surprised about the tone and sustain considering the uniqueness of the build of the guitar. I went in not knowing what to expect but now I look forward to seeing where this company may be going! We’ll let them tell you about it!

Summer NAMM 2016: Coppersound Pedals

Coppersound Pedals would easily be in my top five list of the most unique looking and original ideas. Alex walks us through the three series of pedals they they offer.

Summer NAMM 2016: Matthews Effects Cosmonaut

Rick Matthews of Matthews Effects talks to us about the new Cosmonaut Modulation Reverb pedal. He didn’t have a booth and the booth that had one to demo wasnt quite set up for getting audio easily. There are audio demos at

Summer NAMM 2016: Hungry Robot Pedals

I’ve had my eye on these guys for quite awhile now. I love the designs and the extra mile they go to add some cool features that many brands don’t seem to do. Hungry Robots owner, Eric, walks us through his current line up of pedals. You can Continue reading “Summer NAMM 2016: Hungry Robot Pedals”

Creation Music Company NAMM News

We’ve been good friends with the guys from Creation for almost a year now. We first met John, Founder and co-owner of Creation Music Company, at Summer NAMM 2015. He gave us his run down of what made him unique from other companies and had me convinced after 5 minutes. We ordered a board two or three months later and we’ve been very pleased with it. Continue reading “Creation Music Company NAMM News”
